Normal physiologic functions and pathologic mechanisms are examined to prepare nurses for advanced practice roles.

Reflection

Advanced Pathophysiology was one of the classes that I found myself extremely invested in. It was interesting to dive deeper into human physiology and pathology. I know that as an advanced practice nurse, I will encounter a variety of different disease processes in which I will be responsible to examine, diagnoses and treat the patient population. In the course our classes participated in the following case studies: hypersensitivity reactions, anemia, arterial blood gasses, cranial nerves and diabetes.
